This, quite frankly, sucks. I had a kind of love/hate relationship with John. Yes, he could be annoying as hell but he was also one of the funniest people on the radio. I had a sneaking suspicion that they were going to bring Coombs in full time and I can’t stand listening to him. They should have left it as Bax and Nagle.

John, I listened to you since before Bax arrived. While you seemed to feel you weren’t smart, you were interested and engaged which in my mind are signs of intelligence. You asked questions and stimulated conversations. I miss your contributions to my own questions. I am so sorry you were denied public celebration and recognition of your life’s work .
