Hi everyone,I am excited to share that I will be taking on my first Boston Marathon in April! I have been in awe of this event since I first witnessed this historic challenge and am beyond excited to be participating. While the race will be an incredible personal achievement for me, it is also a chance to give back to an organization that I believe in very deeply. As both an athlete and a coach, I have experienced firsthand how transformative sports can be. Athletics has not only shaped my life but also allowed me to inspire and mentor others. I know I would not be the person I am without the lessons I learned from coaches or the comradery I built with teammates throughout the years, and that is something I believe everyone can benefit from and should have access to.Because of that, I am honored to be raising funds for the Special Olympics Massachusetts, an incredible organization that provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities. By donating to this project, you will help these athletes develop physical fitness, build self-confidence, and experience the joy of participating in sports. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these extraordinary individuals and promote inclusion and acceptance within our community. My journey at the Boston Marathon isn’t just about crossing the finish line; it’s about crossing the boundaries of what’s possible.Thank you for your support and generosity! Together, we can make a profound impact. I cannot wait to take on this challenge and make it count for something truly special.
